Mir Ali Nawaz Talpur (Sr)

Mir Ali Nawaz Talpur (Senior) belongs to Shahwani branch of the Talpurs of Tando Muhammad Khan. He was the younger brother of Mir Ghulam Ali Talpur Sr. Late Mir Ali Nawaz Talpur Sr. worked twice as a minister, once in the cabinet of Abdul Sattar Pirzada, and again in the West Pakistan cabinet of Nawab Muzaffar Qazalbash, until General Ayub Khan took over the reins of the government. He served both as a member of the Sindh Assembly as well as a member of the West Pakistan Assembly.
