Mir Ahmed Khan Talpur – successful agriculturist and politician

Late Mir Ahmad Khan Talpur was the son of Mir Abdullah Khan Talpur. He was born in 1918 and remained a member of the Sindh Assembly from 1946 to 1956. He was well educated and a man with foresight. Since 1952 he followed the Naqshbandi system of Sufism and remained a disciple of Maolana Abdul Malik Sahib Khalifa Hazrat Qureshi Fazal Ali of Muzaffargarh. He passed his life as a highly successful politician, agriculturist, and as a spiritual leader. He was martyred by some unidentified persons at Village Mir Sher Muhammad Talpur residence in 1993.

Descendants: (1) Mir Ghulamullah Khan Talpur, (2) Dr. Mir Amanullah Khan Talpur, and two daughters.
