Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb’s Revenue Order for Mir Shahdad Khan Talpur

فرمان عالمگيری سال جلوس ۴۸ (1116ھ)
عاملان محال پاباتے پرگنہ ہالہ کندی بدانند درینولا تصديق بمهرو دستخط خان ذیشان
احمد یارخان بدفتر رسیده که اراضی پیگاره معمول پرگنہ مذکور کہ ہسمگی شش هزار دام جمع دارد
در زمینداری رفعت پناه شـهـداد بلوچ مقرر است بجاگیرش واگذارند تلخلل و
فتور در زمینداری او راه نیابد- لہذا نگاشته می آید که دامهای اراضی مسطوره من ابتدای ثلثان (؟) خریف مجرای حسب الضمن بعهدهء مرمی الیہ واگذارند که در خبرداری
زمـداری مـفـوضــ خـویش به پردازد- دریـن باب تـاكـيـد دانـد
تحریرا نے التاریخ ۱۹ شهر رجب المرجب سنہ ۴۸ جلوس معلے شاہہ
Translation of the Revenue Order (approximate)
“The arrears of the lands in the pargana Hala Kindi, which are in his eminence’ (rafat panah) Shahdad Baloch’s ownership and stand confirmed (muqarrar ast) as his Jagir, and of which the total land revenue amounts to six thousand [daam], its recovery stands waived with effect from (the two thirds [?] of) the Kharif crop as entered in the record, so that he can manage the cultivation of the lands effectively.
“19 Rajab, 48th year of accession,” says the order.
The order was conveyed through Ahmed Yar Khan, the Governor of Thatta, who signed the document on behalf of the emperor.
